Conceiving Evil by Jenna Fox

Heat Rating

Conceiving Evil was given to me by Jenna Fox

Abby's life was a mess before Dorian entered it. Dorian gave her a job and a better life and told she belonged to him even though he is married. But his wife is just part of his public persona and can't give him the children he wants, that is where Abby comes in, once he divorces his wife.

As I read Conceiving Evil my mind kept wondering back to Rosemary's Baby with a twist, Abby actually knows what she is doing and Dorian is, at least it seems that way. I did find it interesting that Dorian would not take Abby to bed until he was divorced from Bianca but there was some foreplay and punishment action going on. There were some other interesting surprises that I found interesting but I don't want to give away to much off Conceiving Evil.

When Jenna Fox first told me about how dark her book was I thought I was up to the challenge after reading Sealed In Blood but I think that in a lot of ways Conceiving Evil is a much darker book but I may have been slightly off on my assumption. I did finish the book and found it rather thought provoking which surprised me as well as the way it reminded me again of Rosemary's Baby which I watched once alone a swore I would never watch alone again, I think the same will apply to this book if and when I read it again :)
